Announcing the guest appearance of Quinton Flynn at Otakuthon in Montreal, QC. The convention will take place Aug.13th-15th at the Palais des Congrèss de Montreal. He’ll be doing two Q&A sessions over the weekend, one on Saturday and another on Sunday, as well two autograph sessions over the weekend.
Available at the autograph sessions will be 8×10 headshots for $20 each and 4×6 photos for $5 each to get signed and personalized by Quinton, in person! Check out the official Otakuthon website for schedule information.
For anime fans also interested in science and skepticism, Quinton will be joining fellow guest, Sara E. Mayhew, at her “Skepticism Through Manga” meetup event at the nearby Suite 701 Lounge after her panel, which runs from 9pm-10pm. RSVP through the facebook event page or through her website.

E3 2009 “Metal Gear Solid: Rising”

Barely a day went by after the E3 announcement of a new Metal Gear Solid game and the emails were already pouring in–will Quinton be reprising his role as Raiden in Metal Gear Solid: Rising? We’ve had to respond like we always do when asked about an upcoming anime or video game role; voice actors are usually among the last to find out and any new information usually hits the web long before it gets to Quinton.
Although the new game appears to center around Raiden, the MSG character Quinton has voiced in previous titles, there is no news yet on whether he will be resuming the role. We do, however, appreciate the kind messages from fans hoping that he will!
